Makro, the leader in wholesale business under CP Extra Public Company Limited, organized the 14th annual grand event “Shopkeeper Market” under the concept of “A Market You Can Touch, Touch the Heart with the Essence of Friendship” aiming to develop the potential of shopkeepers in the Northeast to be strong and stand with Thai society, pushing the shopkeeper business in the region to grow, create jobs, and increase income for the community.

Currently, there are over 500,000 mom-and-pop store members nationwide. The latest event was the 14th Makro Grocery Market, which is one of the big events of the year. This time, it was held in Khon Kaen Province because it saw its potential as the business center of the upper northeastern region and a gathering place for many small entrepreneurs. The event featured many activities and great promotions, ready to meet the needs of grocery store entrepreneurs. It was packed with knowledge-enhancing workshops by experts from the Department of Business Development, Ministry of Commerce, and lecturers from Khon Kaen University. There was also a zone for special price products from more than 200 participating partner stores, as well as the science of increasing luck for stores, and entertainment from famous national singers.
Special highlights of this event include the "Cho-Huai Cho-Skill" activity, which brings together local grocery shop owners from all over the Northeast to compete to test their skills and knowledge, competing to be number one in the grocery business, to win prizes worth a total of over 200,000 baht. This event will be held from today until March 24, 2024 at the KICE International Convention and Exhibition Center, Khon Kaen.
